As DalKing Swing grows, so does the need for support for our wonderful community of Lindy Hop!
Come be a part of an amazing team, and give back to the most social, fun, and sweet swing dance community in Halifax! Volunteer Responsibilities include:
WHAT VOLUNTEERS GET:
Free entry to events
Discounted classes
End-of-year appreciation event
What Volunteers Do:
taking admissions at the doors before lessons and socials
helping register dancers for classes
assisting with the set up and tear down of socials and events
Anyone* taking a class interested in 50% (half-price on classes) discount, can sign up to volunteer and come in 15-20 minutes early each week and help set up.
*There are only four discount slots per lessons block, meaning if you want to volunteer to help with Lindy 1 or 2 lessons set-up and tear down there is limited availability to do so and receive the discount, so submit quickly if this is a commitment you feel strongly about! This requires a commitment to doing some set up and tear down and at least one thirty minute door slot every saturday night.
