Society of Dalhousie Music Students proudly presents:

James Faraday Swing Dance and Concert
- featuring Jamie Gatti’s Riot Squad with the Dalhousie Jazz Ensemble

McInnes Room Student Union Building, Dalhousie University

Please join us in celebrating this special event commemorating James Faraday, a renown member of the NS music community and former faculty at Dalhousie for over 30 years. 

The music will highlight student performances, feature special tributes by local friends and colleagues of James Faraday along with the Dalhousie Jazz Ensemble. The evening will include will lesson in swing dancing by an instructor from the DalKings Swing Dance Society, and conclude with the traditional swing dance featuring the DJE. 
Proceeds from this event contribute to the Jim Faraday Memorial Scholarship, awarded annually to a Dalhousie percussion student.
